Axe & Knife Throwing FAQs

Is axe and knife throwing safe?
Yes. Every session begins with a guided safety briefing and coaching from trained staff. Lanes are structured and monitored to ensure a controlled, professional environment. No experience is required.

Do I need experience to participate?
Not at all. Most guests are first-timers. We coach you through technique, scoring, and structured games so you feel confident quickly.

What is the minimum age for axe throwing?
The minimum age for axe throwing is 8. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian present to sign a waiver. Younger kids are welcome in the game lounge, and we host Nerf blaster parties for ages 5 to 9.

 

How much does it cost?
Walk-in sessions are $28 per person for 30 minutes. Reserved lanes start at $40 per person. A knife upgrade is $10 per person and is included in 90-minute sessions. Groups of 8 or more get 10% off, and military and first responders receive a free knife upgrade.

How long are sessions?
Walk-in sessions run 30 minutes. Most reserved sessions run 60 minutes and include guided instruction. Corporate events and private bookings may run longer depending on the package.

Can we book axe throwing for corporate team building?
Yes. We host structured, tournament-based corporate team building events designed to build communication, confidence, and camaraderie. Available at our venue or on-site across the Central Coast.

Do you offer mobile axe throwing?
Yes. We deliver mobile axe throwing across the Central Coast for corporate activations, private parties, and social events. Free travel within 25 miles of Atascadero.

What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. No high heels or open-toe shoes.

 

Is axe throwing good for large groups?
Yes. We host everything from small friend groups to corporate events of up to 75 guests. The structured format keeps groups engaged and competitive throughout.

Can axe throwing be combined with other activities?
Yes. Many guests combine throwing with our game lounge, and karaoke can be added for a full group experience.

​

Do you serve drinks?
Yes. We serve local beer and hard seltzer on tap, plus non-alcoholic options including our Dirty Soda bar, soda, lemonade, and water. We also have a social lounge and covered patio.

Do you serve food?
We offer snacks including chips and a charcuterie box. Outside foo
d is welcome, and we have delivery partnerships with neighboring restaurants.

Outside drinks are NOT permitted.
